Ukraine Shale War Turns Uglier

Is the Obama Administration starting a new cold war for oil ??

The US has spent over $5 Billion to destabilize the Ukraine, and that doesn’t include money from classified budgets. The US/NATO has already been widely accused of Operation Gladio false flag terrorist attacks in the Ukraine.

Attorney Hunter Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, and John Kerry’s Stepson Christopher Heinz had mysteriously joined the board of Ukraine’s largest gas-producing company, Burisma.

Hunter’s father, as U.S. Vice President, has repeatedly rebuked Russia for its reported involvement in Ukraine and has pledged to support efforts to reduce its dependency on Russian energy.  smiley-laughing001

In early 2009, The Wall Street Journal reported that Hunter Biden and his uncle had run a fund of funds that was being marketed exclusively by Texas financier R. Allen Stanford’s companies. Mr. Stanford later was sentenced to 110 years in prison for masterminding a $7 billion Ponzi scheme.

Four U.S. Senators sent President Obama a letter asking him to support Ukrainian energy independence. Burisma even thanked them on its website.

On the bottom of the Burisma webpage is this explanatory note:

“The company holds a license portfolio in the Dnieper-Donets, the Carpathian and the Azov-Kuban basins.”

Violence intensified over the weekend in eastern Ukraine. U.S. government sources accused Russia of firing artillery and rockets across the border. News reports say the Pentagon is making plans to share intelligence data with Ukrainian government forces.

If that is the case, we are a single step away from an American–Russian war by proxy.

Cold War II is warming up mighty fast.

Allowing airliners to fly over this war zone was obviously a huge mistake. Why is it a war zone, and when did it become one?

The missiles that brought down MH17 didn’t come out of nowhere. Someone wanted to defend the area from someone else. Who benefits from it?

Reuters published this story on May 17, 2012, quoting Environmental and Natural Resources Minister Eduard Stavitsky.

Royal Dutch Shell and Chevron Corp., Ukraine‘s partners for exploring and developing shale gas, will start commercial gas production in 2017, a government minister said on Wednesday …

Shell will develop the Yuzivska area, in eastern Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, while Chevron will explore the Olesska area in the western region of Lviv.

“Commercial extraction on both areas will begin in 2017,” he said.

The two areas could yield at least 15 billion cubic metres of gas per year and Yuzivska alone — where about 3,000 wells were likely to be drilled — could produce a total of 1 trillion cubic metres, he said.

The former Soviet republic has Europe‘s third-largest shale gas reserves at 42 trillion cubic feet (1.2 trillion cubic metres), according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, behind France and Norway.

The Yuzivska shale region is part of the area now in dispute. A trillion cubic meters is a lot of gas — and a lot of money.

When attorney Hunter Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, had mysteriously joined the board of Ukraine’s largest gas-producing company, Burisma.

Soon thereafter, four U.S. Senators sent President Obama a letter asking him to support Ukrainian energy independence. Burisma even thanked them on its website.

On the bottom of the Burisma webpage is this explanatory note:

The Dnieper-Donets region is the same area mentioned in the 2012 Reuters story. Energy companies have had their eyes on it for a long time.

The Dnieper-Donets Basin is roughly the area now in rebellion against the Kiev-based Ukrainian government.

The U.S. maintains that Russian-supported Ukrainian rebels shot down MH17. Russia denies this. Both governments claim to have intelligence proving their position.
